Meet Carolyn Stansberry

Director of Strategy

Carolyn serves as The Stansberry Firm’s primary contact for private equity and private investors and is very active in the valuation, marketing and negotiation processes in business sale transactions as well as operational consulting services.  Her background spans near 15 years of global experience directly related to business sale representation, business valuation and litigation, operational business development, marketing strategy and sales management in both the US and abroad.

 

Carolyn’s professional career includes serving a key role in world-wide new product/service development at Hewlett Packard (Spain) where she executed global campaigns, competitive benchmarking and advised high-level managers and executives in Asia, Europe and the Americas in implementing strategic business decisions. Carolyn also founded and advanced the marketing and business development departments of a short-term property rental agency in Barcelona, where she was highly involved in restructuring the agency’s management/staffing structure and operational processes, resulting in the exponential growth of the company from 8 rental properties and 100 clients to more than 800 properties and 7,000 international clients.

 

Before moving to Europe, Carolyn worked in the Business Valuations & Litigation (BVL) department at one of Texas’s top accounting firms, specializing in valuation and dissolution reporting.

 

Carolyn studied Business Administration & Spanish at Texas Christian University and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing & Sales Management from ESIC Business & Marketing School in Barcelona, Spain, where she resided for nearly 6 years.  She is fluent in both Spanish and Catalan and currently resides in Boerne, Texas with her four Labradors.  Get to know Carolyn better through LinkedIn or contact her directly.
